Types of data processed

The Controller collects the following data during browsing:

Browsing data

The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, during their normal operation, certain personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. These data are not collected to be associated with identified data subjects, but could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified.

This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users who connect to the site, URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numeric code indicating the status of the response from the server (successful, error, etc.), and other parameters related to the user’s operating system and computing environment.

These data are used solely to obtain anonymous statistical information on site usage and to check its correct functioning. They could be used to ascertain responsibility in the event of hypothetical cybercrimes against the site.

Data voluntarily provided by the user

The controller may collect the following personal data voluntarily provided by the user:

  • User’s first and last name
  • Email address

Data collection may occur, for example, when the user contacts the Controller to request information about services and/or products by filling out the contact form or sending an email.

Purposes and legal bases for processing

The Company processes data to ensure the site is up to date and meets user needs; it also uses the data to ensure the security of the site and its users, and to protect the Company’s rights and/or assets (legitimate interest).

Subject to the user’s consent, the Company uses data to analyze users’ browsing behavior, including through cookies (see relevant section), and to potentially profile users, i.e., to collect and process data and group users based on their behavior (Statistics, Displaying content from external platforms, SPAM protection, Tag management).

For contractual/pre-contractual purposes, the Company processes data to respond to or fulfill a user request made via the website’s contact form or email. Providing such data is necessary, and refusal by the user makes it impossible for the controller to fulfill contractual obligations and provide the requested functions, services, or information.

Finally, the Company processes user data to comply with legal, regulatory, or EU obligations.

Recipients, duration, and method of processing

Users’ personal data are processed by the Controller, also with the help of external parties acting as webmasters or third-party technical service providers, postal couriers, hosting providers, IT companies. These may act as external data processors pursuant to Art. 28 of Reg. EU 2016/679 or as persons authorized to process data under Art. 29 of Reg. EU 2016/679. Data may also be accessed by categories of authorized staff involved in the data processing (administrative, sales, marketing, customer service, system administrators). An updated list of authorized persons is available upon request from the data controller.

Communication to third parties remains possible where the user has given specific and optional consent.
